Chapter 20: SoGhetto’s Exile and PGC’s Resignation: The day ended with Altazan saving the realms by defeating Majestic, but it also ended with a beastly form of an OSO rampaging throughout Ring. SoGhetto had become fully corrupted, and he completely lost his mind. Because of the prolonged exposure to chaos, SoGhetto had become something worse than a mere Tyrant of Chaos, he had become something that would be called the “Fallen One of Chaos.” While Altazan attended to ThunderFuel’s critical wounds, PGC pursued SoGhetto in order to contain the former leader of Ring from spreading the virus-like corruption any further. When he caught up to him, SoGhetto was at first distorted and deformed in appearance; his eyes were sapphire-black, his skin became dark grey, and his mouth foamed corrosive acid. When he appeared like this, everything that he would simply touch would become corrupted. This deprived and extremely corrupted state inside of a living being was never before seen, not even in BNC. It manifested normal at first, but it would then appear highly corrupt as if for a moment, and then it would return to a normal state. This cycle repeated constantly. PGC realized that SoGhetto’s appearance was somewhat like Jekel and Hyde. He was indeed fully corrupt, but his appearance would shift from normal to corrupt, and back again. PGC found out that when SoGhetto manifested a normal appearance, he was harmless, but when he manifested his true chaotic form, he was highly toxic to the touch. PGC had to time it just right, he did! While SoGhetto appeared in a normal state for about three seconds, PGC grabbed him and threw him in a containment pod, then sealed it just in time to avoid corruption from the dangerous Fallen One. However, the incident scarred PGC’s sanity and mind, and after trapping SoGhetto, PGC fell into a state of temporary mental shock. After Altazan had tended to Thunder’s wounds, he and Thunder found PGC lying on the ground, shaking and then convulsing. PGC repeatedly said, “The Fallen One lives! The Fallen One lives!” With SoGhetto contained, Altazan and Thunder tended to PGC and then discussed how to deal with their former friend. Thunder suggested that they should send SoGhetto into Abyss with BNC, but Altazan explained to him that SoGhetto was pure in heart, and did not deserve such a fate. He also explained that SoGhetto was the one who sealed the Abyssal Gate the last time, which therefore he could re-open it to release other Chaotics. Altazan saw that the only way to be safe was to send SoGhetto out into the Vast Void, which was where Altazan came from; there he could at least oversee SoGhetto from time to time to see if he was safely kept away from the realms and from the Abyssal Gate. Thunder agreed to Altazan’s proposal, and together they exiled their good friend into the void. When PGC had recovered, the physical and mental stress of the situation forced him to retire and resign from OSO-ship. He was however awarded the seat of the Head Councilor (ie Counselor) for his bravery and dedication to the realms. At this point in time, Thunder and Altazan realized that more OSOs would need to replace the now newly retired…
